ARCHITECTURAL

A.
ARCHITECTURE THEME
A
Village theme has been designed for the Queen Creek
Marketplace to create a pedestrian friendly shopping
environment in an atmosphere indicative of "Main
Street USA". This is achieved by providing a
variety of building materials and colors, massing
and a strong focus on building orientation. In addition,
a substantial amount of pedestrian amenities have
been provided throughout the development such as considerable
landscaping at all internal intersections and pedestrian
crossings. Furthermore, shaded walkways and canopies
have been provided throughout parking areas, along
store fronts and in between buildings to make pedestrians
more comfortable in the warmer months.
